Artist's StatementWelcome to my website. My two passions are art and conservation. I have decided to merge them. I create whimsical, clay animals and place them in environments that are fun as well as functional. I use flowers and plants as design elements. They are pressed into clay jars & pitchers that I have created. I handbuild mugs which become the canvases for light hearted paintings of animals. The illustrations are based on photographs that I have taken during my travels. I love using clay. I love this planet and the animals that we share it with. Many of these creatures need our help. You help me to help these animals. When you purchase one of my pieces, a portion of the proceeds will be sent to a "charity navigator" conservation organization.
